Saying that after 1 1/2 years of difficult suffering the sun shines once again, writing: "Mine is the beastly world for one night still: / Of this last night the lemons squeeze I will," which he identifies as "frei--nach Schiller vom Mock -Yankee," asking him to send as soon as possible 12 complimentary copies of Bülow's "French romances," and to greet Louis Engel and Ch. [i.e. Karl?] Fradel, etc.
